Trumpet: This is a vintage trumpet by Reynolds. Depending on what tone and sound you are looking to depict..I find that for me, this trumpet carries a very smooth and reliable tone. As a professional Jazz player, this trumpet packs more punch and delivers the job for me. However, like I always say..the best instrument equipment doesn't guarrenttee that you will accomplish mastery; you shape the sound of your instrument, the instrument does not shape you.
Flugel Horn: The Kanstul ZKF 1525 Signature Professional Bb Flugelhorn has superb intonation throughout the entire range of the instrument, coupled with the rich, mellow sound of heavy walled copper. I'd recommend this for any professional Jazz players.
